but someone reminded me of these things and oh my lordie did I LOVE the demo I had. Torque EVERYWHERE , wheelies for DAYS, and a sound track that would wake the dead 2 towns over. Shame the company itself cant seem to get its shit together in terms of customer (and dealer) service. But I think i will be owning one of these one day.

Me too. There was a 690 for sale on my local CL for a decent price. I was very tempted but told myself to save up for a SuperDuke

All the more reason to buy one used/out of warranty!

I mean, the SE was only frst the first gen and they have been out of production for a bit.
not that I care for the warrenty, I just want that SWEETTTTTT paint job (apperenlty, the candy orange used on the side blades is worth something like $3000 a gallon)

Now, answer truthfully.....wouldn’t you still make a post just like this but waxing poetic about the noise of a daytona if you got the SDR?

$3000/gallon?? Damn, that’s almost as much as inkjet printer ink

the SDR isnt about the noise, its about the sheer stupidity of having 185HP and 110lb-ft of torue in a sub 400lbs package.
the noise is just a by product of that
Id likely be waxing about the handling of the daytona.
I NEED MORE MONEY FOR MORE BIKES DAM IT

You still half evaded the question! You could be on the Duke and see a Panigale V4R or something else like that and have the same reaction. There will always be a faster bike.
